Our Mission Statement

“THOSE WHO TEACH YOUNG BABES DO SO WITH GENTLE MEANS AND EASY TASKS”
to achieve this we provide a safe, loving, challenging, stimulating and fun environment inclusive to all.

Where it all began…

Mary Geary has provided a childcare service in Carrigtwohill for over 36 years. Upon completing her Leaving Certificate, her passion and desire to teach and help children learn led her to study at Maitland training college in Cardiff. From there she went on to create and provide a preschool service for many local children, whom now have their own children attending our preschool service. Our current facility was opened in June 2003.

Where we are now…

We now have a team of over 40 staff, all of which share a passion and depth of knowledge and wealth of experience in childcare and will work in partnership with you toward the physical, emotional, social, cultural and intellectual enrichment of your child or children. It is widely acknowledged by the parents of over 1,600 children in the area that their children have received the highest quality care over the last 36 years.

Where we’re going…

We are building on our past and investing in our future, as we endeavour to build a brand new state of the art childcare facility and have it open by September 2019.

‘We ensure an inclusive culture, recognising that each child is an individual and has their own learning style’.

Mary Geary’s is not just a creche, it’s like a family, full of friendly faces and support when needed. We couldn’t have picked a better place to send our little girl.

I have a little girl who 99% of days loves going to school, she plays with other children, takes her turn, tells me about her day and sings songs. To say I am grateful is an understatement, the staff at Mary Geary’s Childcare have been so warm, friendly, kind and loving towards Emma (and myself!). I will thank God every day that my Emma had the luck of having you all as her teachers.

Many people will walk in and out of our lives but only special people like you will leave footprints in our hearts.
